Keno Strategies That Are Sure To Win

It may not usually be seen as the most fun game in the realm of gaming, but keno has millions of devout enthusiasts. Why wouldn’t it? It’s a consistently entertaining lottery-esque game that’s uncomplicated to learn, readily available in many different variations, and one that will yield millions for those who learn its heaps of subtle rules. But let’s start with the beginner’s rules for now.

When explaining keno to beginners, some betting pros compare it to bingo. This is at least nearly correct, in that each game is essentially numerical. However, to take that comparison too far would be to discount the countless unique traits that make keno so exciting. Not like bingo, keno enthusiasts have the power to choose the numbers for each card.

Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the gambler is granted an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to pick as numerous (or as few) numbers as he needs. And it doesn’t take a keno superstar to come up with how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your handpicked numbers with a every day oldpen like you used when you were in grade 3.

Now that you’ve checked your numbers, take the game card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The person will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t lose this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your pretty face and would like to help out, without a winning ticket in hand, you will be given exactly $.00 for your time spent.

Ok, there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let us move to something a bit more complicated, yes?

After you’ve picked your numbers, get yourself into a nice keno booth and see the action happen on a big video monitor. This is where the winning numbers are displayed in lights. If you marked winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to drag your feet, or sit there congratulating yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get up to the keno stand to get your winnings, since a new keno game will almost certainly begin within 5 minutes.

Strategy #2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!

Since you don’t trust yourself to make that 5 minute margin each and every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the very same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from two to twenty tickets. When the max number of keno games (fitting the number of tickets) is completed, you can then get off your numb rump and go redeem your winnings.

Another opportunity is recognized as a "stray and play" keno card, which commonly allows you make number picks for thirty games or more. Golly, you can take vacation to France and not have to worry about getting back in time to redeem your winnings. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you know several essential schemes for winning keno. If you are a knowledgeable keno player, they might seem very obvious. But it won’t hurt to study up on the basic strategies, and if you are a novice player, every little bit of information will help make your keno wagering more captivating.
