Keno Schemes That Make Money

[ English ]

It might not ordinarily be deemed the funnest game in the world of wagering, but keno has tons of devout followers. Why wouldn’t it? It’s a constantly thrilling lotto-like game that’s easy to play, readily available in loads of alternate formats, and one that might pay out millions of dollars for gamblers who master its heaps of subtle intricacies. But let’s start with the basic facts here.

When explaining keno to newbies, some gaming connoisseurs compare it to the lottery. This is at least in some ways apt, in that both games are generally numerical. But to carry that comparison too far is likely to be to discount the innumerable unique characteristics that make keno so entertaining. Unlike bingo, keno enthusiasts have the freedom to choose the numbers for every card.

Keno cards have a grand total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an additional level of personal responsibility by being able to determine as many (or as few) numbers as he thinks is appropriate. And it doesn’t take a doctor of keno to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your picked numbers with a good oldball point pen like you had when you were in school.

After you have selected your numbers, take your keno card back to the keno pit manager at the keno booth. The person will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not lose this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your face and would like to help out, without a winning ticket on you, you will win exactly $.00 for your actions.

So, there you have strategy numero uno: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let’s get on to something a tiny bit more complex, ok?

After you’ve picked out your numbers, get yourself into a comfortable keno booth and observe the action take place on a big video monitor. That is where the winning numbers appear for us. If you checked winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to take your time, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You need to get back to the keno stand to collect your winnings, since a new drawing will most likely start up within five minutes.

Strategy #2: always go back to the keno booth on time!

Since you do not trust yourself to beat that five-minute margin every time, you always retain the option of using a "multi-race" ticket. These include the same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 tickets. When the max number of games (the same as the number of tickets) is completed, you may then get off your numb back side and go redeem your winnings.

Still another alternative is recognized as a "stray and play" keno slip, which usually allows you make number selection for thirty keno rounds or more. Golly, you can take vacation to Italy and not have to fret about getting back in time to collect your numbers. Most "stray and play" tickets are good for up to a whole year after purchase!

So now you are aware of a number of indispensable strategies for winning keno. If you are a discerning user, they may appear to be very obvious. But it will not hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a beginner player, every little bit of information will help make your keno betting more enjoyable.
