Keno Strategies That Will Make You Rich

[ English ]

It won’t usually be deemed the most fun game in the arena of betting, but keno has huge amounts of dedicated followers. Why wouldn’t it? It’s a always exciting lottery-type game that’s a breeze to master, readily available in lots of alternate styles, and one that might yield mega-dollars for players who master its numerous subtle rules. But let’s begin with the basic rules here.

When defining keno to amateurs, some betting pros compare it to lotto. This is at least partly correct, in that each game is essentially numerical. But to carry that comparison too far would be to think too little of the countless unique characteristics that make keno so interesting. Not like bingo, keno enthusiasts have the ability to choose the numbers for every card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the user is granted an extra level of personal responsibility by being able to decide on as many (or as few) numbers as she thinks is appropriate. And it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all your handpicked numbers with a ordinary#2 pencil like you had when you were in school.

After you’ve picked your numbers, carry the card back to the nice person at the keno stand. The girl will record those numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your mug and wants help out, without a winning receipt with you, you will be given precisely $.00 for your efforts.

Now there you have strategy #1: always make sure to keep your keno slip. Let’s advance to something a little bit more advanced, shall we?

After you’ve checked off your numbers, get yourself into a nice keno booth and observe the action take place on the screen. This is where the winning numbers show up for all to see. If you marked winning numbers, mark your card appropriately. Make sure not to drag your feet, or sit there praising yourself for too great a length of time. You want to get back to the keno stand to get your winnings, and a new round of keno will certainly start up within five minutes.

Strategy number two: always go back to the keno stand on time!

Since you do not trust yourself to make that 5 minute deadline each and every time, you always have the option of purchasing a "multi-race" card. These include the self same set of your handpicked numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the max amount of keno games (the same as the number of tickets) is completed, you may then get off your numb rump and go redeem your winnings.

Still another choice is known as a "stray and play" keno slip, which generally allows you make number choices for 30 games or more. Hell, you can take a world tour and not have to worry about getting back in time to redeem your numbers. Most "stray and play" cards are good for up to a whole year after you purchase it!

So now you know several indispensable methods for winning keno. If you are an adept player, they might appear to be very obvious. However, it does not hurt to brush up on the fundamentals, and if you are a beginner player, every tiny bit of information will help make your keno wagering more fun.
