Keno Schemes That Win

It may not usually be deemed the funnest game in the realm of gambling, but keno has millions of passionate supporters. And so it should! It’s a regularly exciting lottery-ish game that’s easy to play, abundantly available in tons of alternate variations, and one that can return millions for players who master its uncounted subtle nuances. But let’s start with the basics here.

When defining keno to amateurs, some wagering masters compare it to bingo. This is at least in some measure apt, in that both games are generally numerical. But to carry that comparison too far can be to devalue the good many unique traits that make keno so interesting. Unlike bingo, keno gamblers have the ability to pick the numbers for each and every card.

Keno cards have a total of 80 numbers, but the gambler is furnished with an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to select as many (or as few) numbers as she feels they need. And it doesn’t take a super genius to determine how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark each of your handpicked numbers with a good oldpen like you used when you were in third grade.

Now that you’ve selected your numbers, carry your card back to the clerk at the keno stand. The person will record your numbers and then give you a receipt. Do not drop this (potentially) expensive bit of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your face and would like to help out, without a winning receipt on you, you will collect precisely $.00 for your time spent.

And there you have strategy number one: always take care to keep your keno slip. Let us get on to something a little more complex, what do you think?

Now that you’ve picked out your numbers, get yourself into a nice keno booth and see the action unfold on the screen. That’s where the winning numbers appear in lights. If you’ve got winning numbers, mark your card accordingly. Make sure not to move to slowly, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You must get back to the keno booth to collect your winnings, and then a new drawing will probably start up within a few minutes.

Strategy #2: always make sure to get back to the keno stand on time!

Assuming you can not trust yourself to meet that five-minute margin every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" card. These include the very same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the maximum amount of keno games (the same as the amount of tickets) is played, you should then get off your lazy back side and go get your winnings.

Another option is recognized as a "stray and play" keno slip, which normally allows you make number selection for thirty games or more. Hell, you can take vacation to Greece and not have to fret about getting back in time to collect your numbers. Most "stray and play" slips are good for up to a whole year after it’s bought!

And now you know a handful of required techniques for winning keno. If you are a discerning user, they may seem incredibly obvious. However, it will not hurt to bone up on the basics, and if you are a newbie player, every bit of direction will help make your keno gambling more captivating.
