Introducing Keno

Keno is one of those games you will know about or you don’t. It’s basically considered a lottery in the casino. Similar to the lottery, the game is made up of numbered balls being selected. The goal is to pick the numbers that come up. The game of Keno can either be quick or slow depending on the casino. By playing Keno on the internet you can set the pace of the game. As for me, I prefer live keno. You hang out in a lounge, if you like, and enjoy. Keno is a game that you don’t need to be present to participate and be a winner. For instance, you could put in a ticket for 20 games and then head off to compete in something else in the casino or even your hotel room if you are staying at the casino.

Keno Board

The game is played on a board. The Keno game board consists of eighty numbers – numbered 1 though 80. The 1st 40 are referred to as the top portion and the bottom forty are referred to as the bottom portion.

Enjoying Keno

Each game of Keno plays out the same. The game begins, and 20 numbers are picked. The casino may be utilizing the ball system. Ping pong style balls are blown up and picked, exactly like the lottery on TV. Some other casinos use pc’s. If a number you checked is chosen, that is known as a "hit." When all 20 numbers have been selected, the game ends and winning tickets are paid.

There is a fair amount of diversity in the game of Keno. For example, you can pick a single number, two numbers and so forth-up to 20 numbers. Normally, you have to get most of your numbers to win something. For example, if you choose six numbers, you will usually have to hit three to earn your cash back.

Keno Payouts

The payouts in Keno are pretty high. The probability of winning will be dependent on the total numbers picked. For instance, if you select two numbers, you will have a 6% chance of hitting your ticket. Every casino’s Keno department has their own pay outs. If you are going to play on the internet, make sure you shop all over for the greatest pay outs first.
