Keno was known as the White Pigeon Game, because the winning numbers were delivered by pigeons from bigger locations to the smaller towns. The lottery ‘Keno’ was brought to America in the 19th century by Chinese expatriates who came to the US to jobs. In those times, Keno used one hundred and twenty numbers.

Today, Keno is normally gambled on with 80 numbers in most of the US land based casinos along with net casinos. Regardless of the reality that the chances of getting a win are appalling, there is always the chance that you might hit quite large with a tiny gambling investment.

Keno is enjoyed with eighty numbers with twenty numbers selected each round. Gamblers of Keno can pick from two to ten numbers and bet on them, whatever amount they are able to. The payout of Keno is according to the wagers made and the matching of numbers.

Keno grew in popularity in the United States near the close of the 1800’s when the Chinese characters were replaced with more familiar, American numbers. Lotteries were not covered under the laws of wagering in Nevada State in Nineteen Thirty One. The casinos adjusted the name of the ‘Chinese lotto’ to ‘horse race keno’ utilizing the notion that the numbers are horses and you want your horses to place. When the Nevada government passed a law that taxed off track gambling, casinos quickly altered the name to ‘Keno’.
