It will not commonly be looked at as the most lucrative game in the world of betting, but keno has massive amounts of fanatical admirers. And why not? It’s a routinely entertaining lotto-style game that’s uncomplicated to play, abundantly available in many assorted styles, and one that will return millions for people who learn its innumerable subtle intricacies. But let’s start with the basic rules here.
When describing keno to beginners, some gaming masters compare it to lotto. This is at least nearly apt, in that each game is generally numerical. Yet to carry that comparison too far will be to underrate the endless unique traits that make keno so compelling. Unlike bingo, keno users have the freedom to choose the numbers for each card.
Keno cards have a total of eighty numbers, but the player is given an additional degree of personal responsibility by being able to pick as many (or as few) numbers as he thinks is appropriate. And it doesn’t take a nuclear physicist to figure out how to fill out a card: all you do is circle or otherwise mark all of your desired numbers with a good oldball point pen like you used when you were a kid.
Now that you have selected your numbers, take the keno card back to the girl at the keno stand. The girl will record your numbers and then hand you a receipt. Don’t drop this (potentially) valuable piece of paper! Even if the keno pit manager remembers your mug and would like to help out, without a winning receipt in hand, you will collect exactly $.00 for your time spent.

After you’ve checked off your numbers, settle into a nice keno booth and observe the action take place on the big keno monitor. That is where the winning numbers are shown for us. If you checked winners, mark your card appropriately. Be sure not to dally, or sit there praising yourself for an obnoxious length of time. You must get up to the keno stand to collect your winnings, as a new drawing will likely start up within five minutes.
Strategy #2: always make sure to get back to the keno booth on time!
Assuming you do not trust yourself to make that 5 minute margin every time, you always retain the option of buying a "multi-race" ticket. These include the very same set of your desired numbers on anywhere from 2 to 20 cards. When the max number of keno games (matching the number of tickets) is finished, you may then get off your numb bum and go get your winnings.
Still another choice is known as a "stray and play" keno ticket, which commonly allows you make number selection for 30 rounds or more.
